The food was absolutely mild. It really wasn’t that good I would never come back. I don’t think the food was good at all. This is my second time coming to this establishment. The first time I came to cheddars I was in Orlando for work and it was amazing. I had the cheese bites then and he was good and had the cheese bites again and it was pretty good. This time I ordered the country fried steak and it came with a lot of Reading the steak was all right. He really wasn’t that good very plain. Also, the food was mediocre. The service was very very nice. I liked the service a lot. The energy and vibe here was also pretty well, but the food was just thumbs down all around. I would never come back just because of that I know the server had nothing to do with the food so that’s why I want to give two stars for the food. Also the spinach dip we had was good. Seems like the only food that tasted good were appetizers. Totally NOT worth the $70 i spent.

Had the Monte Cristo. It's one part sandwich and one part dessert. All parts delicious. I've ate at this location numerous times and haven't had a bad experience yet. The place has a cool vibe. Always friendly and clean. I'll definitely eat here again.

foods were soooooooooo good. T bone steak is outstanding, also a mini honey butter croissant before food is the best, chicken tender reasonable price, but service every time we visit. always waiting forever for check out. or to go box. they want customers to do everything on the machine that they have on the table. the atmosphere was so nice and friendly. even my booth is have the light on and off all the time like Halloween theme

My first time here and I’m fairly impressed. Roanoke has not been my favorite for food in the year + that I have lived here. This place is your typical Americana but it’s done well. The croissants were delicious. I wasn’t there when they came out so I didn’t see the drizzle. Did not expect them to be that sweet but it was a nice surprise. Warm, flaky, sweet and almost a dessert before the meal. The amount of salmon that I saw throughout the dining room tells me the salmon should be tried. Particularly the bourbon glazed. I had a ribeye which was actually cooked to temp but was really tough. Hard to cut and chew. Potato tasted well but if you’re someone like me who likes to eat the skin it was a bit overdone on the bottom. The light batter on the cheese curds was nice and crispy but neither it or the cheese had much flavor. The homemade ranch was a decent dipper and added some needed saltiness. The most disappointing was the Cookie Monster which I forgot to photo. The cookie was soft to cut into but it was SO DRY!!! It crumbled before you could get it on your spoon. Ice cream was a solid chunk except the portion that had melted and was crystallized. Not sure how quickly my cookie came out because by the time it got to me I had a rock of ice cream surrounded by a puddle and the whipped cream was not standing at all. Flavor of the cookie wasn’t great, ice cream wasn’t great and it definitely was not cooked well. Overall, it wasn’t bad. I would come back and try another dish but would NOT sit at another table where a whole half of the table is blocked in by a wall. Not sure how this is up to fire code and I would never want to be the person who is stuck in the corner with 2 people and 2 walls blocking your exit.

Everything was handled professionally and with enthusiasm. From the greeting at the front to the goodbye at the end everyone was very nice. We ordered the honey butter croissants and they are to die for. First round is free and each after is $2 for 2 croissants. Needless to say we ordered quite a few. Our main dish was the 14 oz Ribeye that was cooked to perfection with their loaded baked potato. Highly recommend this location 10/10!
