I’ve been a FITA regular for years and the recent ownership change has taken this place to a whole new level. Still the same friendly neighborhood pub/patio vibe with better pizza, better food, better drinks. The fried chicken sandwich is a must-crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The beer selection is way more interesting now and there’s a fun cocktail list and nicer wine taboot! If you haven’t been lately, do yourself a favor and check it out.

Great pub food. Brussel sprouts appetizer was delicious. Banana old fashioned was good too! Fantastic atmosphere!

We ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza with light sauce for pickup. Definitely not what we picked up. Pizza was burnt on the edges but raw dough, extra sauce and no pepperonis. We have tried to call multiple times, no one will pick up the phone and the voicemail box is full. NEVER EATING HERE AGAIN. Thanks for the waste of time and money.

The new menu is just not the menu this place should have. It lacks diversity and depth as the last menu possessed. Having been a food critic for some time now, I was thoroughly disappointed at what the new ownership has done to the place. It’s like every other restaurant here in roanoke that is just geared to be a cash cow instead of a good genuine experience! It’s unfortunate that this place feels more of a place just to get a drink instead of being a good lunch spot like it was!

We came and ate here last week with a small dog in a backpack. We ate on the closed in porch area and my dog stayed in her bag on the floor the entire time. Connor was our server and she was amazing. The food was delish! We drove an hour each way today to come back to eat and we were refused the exact same table because there were “new owners that were more strict” and we didn’t want to sit outside in the wind and cold. What a waste of a drive - we won’t be back.
