HRAH is fear-free certified and has a large staff fully dedicated to your pet's comfort and well-being. They are patient with nervous animals and humans alike, in 5 years I've never once felt like they were pushing something unnecessary, the doctors are knowledgeable, compassionate, and pragmatic, and every single staff member is there to assist with kindness. At 46 years old, I have been bringing animals to the vet for 26 years in multiple states and this is by far the best clinic I've ever been to. I'm very grateful for HRAH!

I cannot express my gratitude for everyone at this organization. My wife and I have been taking our animals here for probably the last 8 years and this past week we unfortunately had to let one go. At such a tough time Dr. Todd was directly involved with us over the weekends and after hours helping us navigate a decision that was not easy to make. Dr. Todd had been seeing our dog ever since we had started visiting here and has always been so genuine and honest in his recommendations and I truly believe his efforts over the years extended our dogs long life exponentially as well as the quality. When it came time to finally say goodby every one of the staff members that day helped as best as they could to make it easier, the staff all came by to say goodby with us and I cannot thank Dr. Todd enough for being willing to go through this event with us, it was clear that it was also emotional for him as well, but he never broke while with us and was as professional as could be while still consoling my wife and me. I just really appreciate the care everyone has taken over the years with our animals and I appreciate being able to see the same people over and over again, their willingness to help and in this situation their willingness to help us navigate it as well as see it through with us. This is one of the few places I feel I get the service that I give to others and that they care about educating you so that you can make the best decisions possible. While visits here will not be the same without one of our pups with us anymore, I look forward to the experiences we will have with our other anytime we visit. Thank you for everything.

My Boston Terrier loves HRAH. Dr. Todd always treats him extra special. The assistants are always friendly and they all love animals. The treats don't hurt either!

I can’t speak highly enough of the HRAH staff. Their certified fear free approach has been a game changer for all of our pets, even the ones who don’t mind going to the vet! That makes our experience as pet parents better too. They are honest and straightforward about cost and pricing. They’re accommodating to our pets’ needs and personalities. They have plenty of schedule availability. We’re moving away from the area soon and will miss HRAH!

I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care and compassion provided by the staff at Hanging Rock Animal Hospital during one of the most difficult times of my life. Saying goodbye to our beloved 16-year-old puggle, Chloe, was heart-wrenching, but the support we received from Penny, Alex, and Dr. Groff made a world of difference.
Two weeks before making the difficult decision to say goodbye, I began searching for places that offered pet cremation services. HRAH was the fourth place I called; I was blessed to speak with Penny. She provided invaluable guidance and reassurance during a time of immense uncertainty. She also emailed me a helpful brochure about how to know when it's time to make the difficult decision.
When the time came to schedule Chloe's end-of-life care, the team at Hanging Rock Animal Hospital went above and beyond to ensure a peaceful and dignified farewell. The option to have Chloe's passing in the serene gazebo environment was truly a blessing. It provided a tranquil setting for us to say our goodbyes, surrounded by nature and sunlight.
From the moment we arrived, the staff at HRAH expressed warmth and understanding. Alex was incredibly patient and kind! Dr. Groff's expertise and empathy were evident as he guided us through Chloe's final moments. He took the time to explain the process thoroughly, offering comfort and reassurance every step of the way. Thanks to their kindness and professionalism, Chloe passed peacefully, surrounded by love. I couldn’t have asked for more.
The care and compassion shown by the entire staff have left a lasting impression on my husband and me. I will forever cherish the memories of Chloe's peaceful passing in such a loving environment.
When the time comes to welcome another fur baby into our lives, there is no doubt that we will entrust their care to Hanging Rock Animal Hospital.
