Came to town to get Mom’s cars inspected. Went to another franchise location(s) at 9 am and was told my auto should be ready by 5pm, the second location could have me in and out the next day or the second day for sure; it was just after noon when I stopped by the second location. That was just one vehicle and each one had to be left while awaiting “my turn in line”. Looked for an inspection station on-line and selected Porter’s after calling and speaking with the NICEST LADY one could encounter😁. She told me to get there just after lunch and they would get me in and out! It took less than 45 min while I waited. Returned later that afternoon, dropped off the second vehicle and picked it up the next morning.
Very nice people and they do more than inspections. Looks like they have been at their location since the Roanoke Market was a real market! GO THERE…Great people, Great service and they respect YOUR TIME! Thanks

I have super wide tires and porter's one of the few places that can mess with them. Got a screw in one yesterday. Got it towed today and even though I got here 30 minutes after they opened they are all ready working on the patch. Fast and friendly. Love my porter's.

Very grateful for the great service at Porter's! My wife and I were in town visiting family and our heat stopped working on the way to town. We explained the scenario and the ideal turnaround time of having it fixed within 48 hours to head back home and they delivered! Highly recommend them whether you live nearby or visiting!

I tried getting my car fixed here but the front desk lady was very rude to me on the phone and in-person. The head mechanic, on the other hand, was very friendly. I decided to not get my car serviced here because they couldn't give me an estimated time they would fix my nor give me a chance to make an appointment. On their site, it said to make a call to make an appointment and when I attempt to, they told me that they don't make any appointments at all which is contradictory. Overall, a bad experience for me but you can be the judge. I hope that I could get them at their best rather than at their worst. Granted they were 3 mechanics down but there's no reason to put that frustration on to the customer.

Very pleased with the responsiveness of this shop. We were able to have my daughter's car towed to the shop and the repairs completed the same day. I'd recommend them to anyone with auto repair needs.
