This was my first time visiting and I'm glad I took the chance. The staff was very kind and helpful. There was a problem finding my insurance because I didn't have my card, but the ladies at the desk were patient and took the time to try several different methods to look up my information. Thankfully they found it and I was able to go ahead with my appointment.
The appointment itself took a long time. I was taken into the back 3 separate times for different things; the pre-screening, the actual exam and then the dilation exam. The doctor was wonderful. She was very attentive and personable. We talked about my eye health, but we also talked about other things like my son and daughter and an incident that I had as a toddler. She listened and was very interested in what I had to say. She answered all of my questions thoroughly and with patience.
I don't know about other locations, but the one at Valley View Mall is where I went and I would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a thorough eye exam and a wonderful staff.

I received excellent care at Star City. Staff was friendly and courteous. The doctor was focused on me during my visit and made sure I received a thorough eye exam. She was also friendly and made the experience enjoyable. Do not hesitate to make your appointment. I won’t go anywhere else!

I’ve been here a few times and Dr. Andrews was my physician. Initially I really enjoyed the place. It was nice having the option to book online and such. But the last few times I went I waited over an hour past my scheduled appointment. Also the people at the desk completely ignore you when you walk in and don’t even acknowledge your presence. Also Dr. Andrews herself laughed at me a few times when I asked her a question. I’m sorry but the moment a physician laughs at you whether your question is absolutely ridiculous or not, you never laugh at a patient. So the moment that happened I decided to switch doctors. If I could give this is your review I probably would. Treat your patients with respect and pay attention to them when they walk in the door and maybe you will improve as a business.

I would give a zero if I could. Had an appointment in January that was made in advance. Received a letter and an email reminding me of my appointment. I took the afternoon to go to the appointment. When I get there the door is locked and the eyeglass showroom tells me that they closed a month ago and tried to contact customers. What a huge inconvenience especially since I live 30 minutes away. What a disappointment! I specifically chose Lenscrafters due to reputation and reliability. I was wrong.

My appointment was at 3, the technician took me to the room at 3:30 and I thought I was seeing the doctor but that wasn't the case. She took some information and did some eye tests. I waited another 30 minutes until the eye doctor came in and did the exam. The doctor dilated my eyes and she invited me to go next door to pick out my glasses and come back in about 15 or 20 minutes. It has always been my experience that the doctor would tell me about my eyes and then I can ask questions. And this case she didn't. If I didn't ask any questions I would not have known what was going on with my eyes. My appointment took 2 hours. That's ridiculous!
